This is a blog about creating space in our lives to simply be ourselves. To me that means pushing back the walls of our world enough to feel rich, unafraid, and full of grace for ourselves and others. Watch the process as I travel, probe the healing arts, cook, eat and savor life! Maybe you will find a bit of inspiration to try something new, savor what you love and just BE too!
I wish I'd had my camera with me today to get a closer look at the heron I saw at the Arboretum. We both sat nearly as still as stones for an hour. Then suddenly it darted its long neck into the water, and came up with a fish that was probably 6" long! It then proceeded to the shore where it ate the whole thing. I was thinking of you - and of this picture you took as I watched the heron and as I noticed people paddling their canoes and not seeing the heron so close by. I enjoyed just being there for a while - noticing little things and lives around me.
